San Pietro in Vincoli Zona Teatro is an association that brings together three independent entities in the framework of the former cemetery of San Pietro in Vincoli in Turin. The collaboration of these institutions has created a range of proposals ranging from theater production to training and organization of cultural events.

The new visual identity further identifies and unites these three realities into one single project.

Unions and symbols / new identity

The distinguishing feature of this visual identity is represented by the triangle, a strongly symbolic element that represents the union of the three independent realities and that incorporates the architectural elements

such as the tympanum of the chapel of the former-cemetery, indicating the strong link between Zona Teatro and the place that hosts it.

The realization of the graphic sign started from a pencil sketch, with a dirty, rough stroke to make the concept of a changeable, always in the making project: which are characteristics of San Pietro in Vincoli.

In contrast, the typography is clean and contemporary, creating a tension between the latter and the graphic sign.

Starting from the rough pencil stroke of the logo, there are other signs that can be used in the changing logo or in other visuals, with the aim of representing

the dynamism, creativity and experimental vocation of this project.

Website design

The website is developed according to the visual identity of the brand, and is therefore compact and minimal. The aesthetic employed reminds of the concept of art galleries, revisited in a contemporary key. The icons used reflect the raw trait already used in the graphic sign of the logo. Also images are part of the identity, in particular we chose to use photos of the shows

but also evocative photos, modified with distortions and duo tone, or with the Scanner effect and in general with cold tones. This allows the site to maintain a raw and imperfect mood like the rest of the design.

Instagram feed

To complete the visual identity we also made some Instagram posts examples, which play on the colors palette chosen to best represent Zona Teatro, thus using texts on flat background, photos and masks

 

coherent with the dynamic and contemporary mood of Zona Teatro.
