Renewal of the visual identity of BTT’s 2019/2020 Dance Season

“Young creativity and productions entrusted to the leading choreographers of the international scene are the strongest focuses of Balletto Teatro di Torino. The new season offers an international made in Lavanderia programme.” For the fourth year, we’ve supported Balletto Teatro Torino in the analysis of a new image for the Dance Season. Since the very beginning, the company has paid specific attention to the experimentation, not only in the research of new shows to add to the season’s dance program, but also to its visual identity.
Bodies and movement / New identity
In the occasion of the 36th edition we renewed the visual identity by focusing on the movement’s expressivity by the use of duotone images and typographical distortions. All deliverables feature the type treatment inspired by dancing bodies which through the lettering alteration communicate dynamism and rhythm.
The typography remains the main and characterising element that defines the BTT’s visual identity.
